Though it’s only been a few months since the Nike Pegasus Premium has hit the market, the early returns have been glowing, heralding Nike’s return to true running innovation with a smattering of its foremost tech options for their latest “super shoe.” While not billed as something that’ll help you shave minutes off your mile, those who have broken the model out for that purpose report an ultra-responsive ride — safe to say, it’s in Nike’s interest to keep the Pegasus Premium in stock with as many color options as feasible.
Though it’s already checked off an initial all-pink pair, leaning into more served “Metallic Rose Gold” is an equally suitable choice. The tall stack height, created with layers of the ZoomX foam, Air Zoom cushioning, and ReactX foam to close, is leveraged to showcase a broad color combo for this pair, encapsulating “Silt Red” and “Metallic Silver” between “Particle Pink” foam. While certainly not a lifestyle shoe, the increasingly blurring boundaries between fashion and sportswear make a bet on the everyday tones on display here a sensible one.
The Nike Pegasus Premium “Metallic Rose Gold” will likely hit Nike.com and partnering retail shelves in the coming weeks, retailing for $210 upon arrival.
